Wow, Amazon (aka Woot.com) sure doesn’t know how to price their computers, do they? A processor from 2018 and a graphics card from the same year for $1179 as a refurb? Admittedly, the processing improvements between Intel Gen 8 vs Gen 9 are modest. The same can be said for the differences between the GTX 1000 series of graphic cards versus the RTX 2000 series. Still, with a bit of digging, you can find a similarly spec laptop within $100-150 of this price as brand new, with a newer processor and newer graphics card. At <$1000, this computer would be a steal. At it’s current price, especially as refurb, no thanks! Cough up 10% more and get yourself a new computer from elsewhere. Maybe if they’re stuck with lackluster sales, they’ll learn how to price these things reasonably!
