It just says GeForce GTX video card. Anyone know what model?

Either a 1060 or 960 depending on which one you choose.

When you click on the drop-down for the model, that’s where it says.

Also under the ‘Specs’ tab.

Can anyone attest to how good these are compared to the price?

I would say it is an OK system what worries me is the max ram is 16gigs this kind of system you should be able to go to 32gigs I got a Cyberpowerpc from Amazon for 699 that I am pretty sure goes to 32gigs and has a AMD RX 580 graphics with 4gigs on it. and it is new not a refurb.

The 1060 model is $799 new on Newegg, to give you a price comparison.

It’s not that much of a deal: you can get them new for a couple of hundred more. They’re OK PCs though I’m rather skeptical about their gaming & overclocking claims. I’m sure you could fit a water cooler in there somehow…

Looks like the system only has 2 dimm slots and only supports 4GB or 8GB sticks. I agree that is very limiting. Although sometimes you can get away with adding non supported dimms like a 16GB stick and that would give you 32GB.

Although with the current ram prices that upgrade alone would cost you half the price of the computer.

The $600 one isn’t bad, is technically VR ready, and should play every game out in 1080p.

The more expensive one has a shit video card, and no one should buy it for that price.

The description also mentions an AMD Ryzen rather than an intel chip. Weak proofing…

[MOD: We’ve corrected this]

799 is high for a 6gig card the system only has a 3gig card they go for much less Amazon has them 499.00.

Sorry think you were talking system not just the card.

The 870-224 model (with the GTX 1060) is the better choice, but if you’re looking for more upgrade availability, Woot has another one to consider https://computers.woot.com/offers/hp-omen-870-intel-i5-gtx1060-1tb-desktop-1?ref=w_cnt_lnd_cat_pc_2_20

Overall, with the way prices are right now I’d say it’s actually a decent deal, but the one I linked is better if you don’t mind another $150.

Description is still borked.

Try again!

So you can get an i5 processor with the 1060 graphics card, or an i7 with the 960? This means both systems are crippled.
