HP Pavilion Dual Core 17.3" Entertainment Notebook with 6GB and Blu-ray

Stickin’ with my MacBook Pro from 3 years ago.

entertainment means you can watch DVDs & BRDs on it.

Absolutely the truth. They totally stonewall and take no responsibility for known major problems ! Check it out:

I will NEVER buy anything HP again.

Nah. A little over $800, though.

I think I stick with my core i7 and GT230 version if this.

Taternuggets and Crowsnest at Woot

HP sucks…I love my Vaio…never again HP…never again

On board video card is a no go for any gamers looking at this.

Prolly cuz you’re still in debt from it! Boom!

The State Fairs are mostly done by Labor Day.

Besides, there’s no need to road-trip all over the country. Everyone knows the Minnesota State Fair is the only one worth seeing. Okay, the Iowa State Fair isn’t too shabby either.

Isn’t that a pic of Picard and Dathon at El-Adrel?

Time for some pictures. Take that Woot! A dog with a toupee.

I agree… some refurb items are store returns.

People bought the computer, something went bad, they quickly return it without telling the store it’s defective.

The store handles it as a customer return DNW (did not want) and it gets repackaged as a refurb.

Eventually it ends back for sale with the customer getting stuck with the defect.

eBay is famous for selling defective refurb computers, usually Dell.

Great prices but the risk of making someone else’s problems your problem is too great.

Sokath - his eyes uncovered!

All I want is a box of chalupas

Interesting use of the word “desperate” then. I understand the fear of refurbs, but in my experience I’ve had just as much, or more, failure from new devices. No bad history with refurbs.

None for me.

I just learned what a root folder was 2 weeks ago.

shame - admitted and endless shame

This little notebook is definitely The beast at Tanagra…
