I think WOOT! said it best — you can’t have “cheap” without HP!

#8

too expensive, much cheaper to build your own.

Good try woot

#9

to bad its a HP

#10

It’s a nice enough machine although it is running the devil spawn’s version of XP. But I already have one so…

#11

do you like it?

#12

Where the hell was this two weeks ago when I bought & built a new PC!

#13

I could build it for cheaper. But hey woot on, don’t let me discourage you.

#14

already built one for half the price…

#15

considering that it has a dual core AMD, good memory, and a decent mobo, this isnt too bad. but the gfx card is a bit of a dealbreaker

Sweet PC! Very tempting, I would love to get one. Very good hardware for this price!

HP is great IMO. I have used their laptops for the last 4 years and have had several other products. Tech support has always been great for me on the rare occasions I needed it.

I put together a similar system on NewEgg using a X2 5200+ and a 400GB hard drive, and I couldnt get the price under 1000 (not without choosing some really budget memory and motherboard anyway, 2 areas I dont lke to go cheap on).

#17

dont think sli capable…oh well…mine is better but this has better processor…

#18

Here are some similiar models to compare to starting at $800+

Don’t expect any wireless netgear cards to work with Media Center. Drivers are not supported yet.

Compliments of Netgear
