HP Photosmart 2710 Wireless All-in-One Printer/Scanner/Copier/Fax

It’s a great printer, great price to for $249.99. However, too rich for my blood… I think more would sell for like $174.99 - $199.99.

Manu-what? Manu-who?

Arg … already have it.
Not a bad printer but not a great one either. The wireless component works great and even use it to transfer my digital pictures to my hard drive.

Now I have to wait another day for the next Woot!

meh, it’s alright. i could deal with a cheaper one minusing the fax. oh well. i need a woot, it’s been awhile.

I have one of these. It works quite well.

Argh! I just bought a wireless Canon iPX4000r. Typical luck…

nice idea. not a huge fan of the price of HP cartridges though.

We sell these printers at CompUSA and they go for over 400 dollars. This isnt a bad price considering its kind of difficult to find an all-in-one that works wirelessly…an all-in-one without built in wireless is difficult to set up through a print server. Epsons tend to have better picture quality but they dont use heat like the HP’s do so the Epson print heads tend to clog up more if you dont use it often. Overall, not a bad printer.

cool printer, but i don’t need one.

The “password thingy” (to use the technical term) is only active during the first five minutes after the woot is offered. They started using this about a month ago.

Wow, that is an expensive printer. My dad bought that over Christmas with rebates for $199. It is a very, very nice printer, granted. He uses it a lot with his digital camera and the prints are extremely high quality. But $250 is just not that good of a deal.

I’m very close to ditching my old printer for this guy. My sister has it, and it works great.

…and I’m guessing I wasn’t the only one to google the Mongolian Death Worm…

All-in-one units suck. Instead of one single piece of crap, you get three even cheaper pieces of crap all rolled into one. Or, if one function breaks and you have to return the unit, you lose the other two functions as well.

Nice printer but for under $100 you can get a b&w HP laserjet with toner. The ink cartridges alone in this one are probably over $100.

If this was laser, I’d be all over it.

Take it from someone who knows their printer cartridges, the 96 & 97 have their pro’s and cons… Quality wise, they are pretty vibrant (almost as good as some the 500 series epson cartridges). Price per page, however, could use some help.

And with the black, it’s 21ml. Take another black cartridge such as the HP 45, which holds over 40ml. Pair that with a printer that can take a 78, and you have yourself a good ratio of price per page for color printing.

This is where the printer companies get you: the cost of the ink. You pay more for ink by the ounce than an aged don perignon. Seriously. It’s like $34 a fluid ounce for hp ink versus like $5 per ounce for a non-woot quality wine. Go laser or go with a higher capacity cartridge.

Actually, the 213 dollar one is refurbished. The new one at newegg is 287.99.

Great woot!

If you can avoid getting ripped-off. eBay is often a craps-shoot.

I have this printer, it is fantastic. Everybody can print from it over the wireless network any where in the house. If you have a wireless network I highly suggest you get this printer.
