Be aware that these are old Win 8 machines

I bought one from the last time they sold. weird parts were the stickers they put on the keyboard (hide worn letters) and the sticker they put on the wrist rest area. needed to trim of the excess and it wan’t put on with precision (but for 300, including the dock…sacrifices must be made)

Description says WIN10?

Released when WIN 8 was the standard and now reimaged with WIN 10.

Can you insert a CD in to add music to library?

Yes:

Optical Drive: SuperMulti DVD±RW

I have a Probook 440 14" and a 650 15.6" and they are solid machines.
For this price, I’d recommend them.

Tempting except HP has a thing about not putting an HDMI port on their pcs. Display port just doesn’t do it for me. But I have a few years’ old ProBook and it’s the only “big box” brand I’d buy. I note they can run hot, get a laptop cooler.

hello all. bought the computer, happily with the specs, tried to set it up last night and didn’t make it past date & time before the thing died. Forums had ideas and similar diagnosis, but “hard resetting battery method” didn’t help. HP’s support steps and online tech couldn’t help. They say its probably fried and out of warranty i should hire their services to repair. I’ve contacted woot this morning, no response yet. Did i just purchase my first woot for $290 worth of plastic? I thought these were refurbished computers not buy “as is” mystery boxes. Any ideas?

Support should get back to you within a day; if you don’t see it, check to see if the email inadvertently got flagged as spam.

Error message upon arrival! I can’t get it to boot. It came with a note to contact metropc if there were any issues but they never got back to me. I will return it to woot.
