I purchased the HP probook 6470b refurb a couple of months ago through woot. Seems to have similar specs to the SSD option offered on this woot. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
Arrived in like new condition with WIN10 pro installed. No bloat ware and no issues at all. Probably the best refurb purchase I’ve ever made.
anyone know if this can run rocket league on “playable” settings?
Rocket League states a dedicated GPU is required, this computer does not have that. I do not play the game but would say, “It will not run well (if at all) on this lappy.” Look for one with a Nvidia GTX.
I’d buy these IF they were 6470b because they support dual-boot CloudReady, but not sure IF these would work. Do you know WHO was the refurbisher for those 6470b’s?
Metro Business Systems per the warranty link.
Terrible reviews from that company:
I still may buy one with an SSD as spec wise I think it would be a great backup laptop to have at work.
There is no dedicated video card, no full size number pad, and I see no mention of an HDMI port.
Seems like this is straight up for work.
I would like to know how it compares to this model
esp. if I want to use if for Photoshop and some gaming.
added: I also need a laptop I can open up a lot of internet browser tabs in, and to watch HD video. (but I am on a tight budget in the $200 range, that’s why I am looking at this and not dedicated gaming laptops
It has DisplayPort. More manufacturers are putting in DisplayPort these days.
yah thats what i figured. thanks for the replay
Unfortunately I did not dodge a bullet with this one. Received laptop today, plug in and power on - no operating system on the drive…have to deal with Metro Business Systems now.
Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that. If you haven’t already, please use the Customer Service form for assistance.
I had to return mine. It came in with the front corner crushed and two broken usb ports.
