excessbuy - Couldn’t find. Closest was $299 but that had less ram and an HDD instead of an SSD.
goodcomputerguy381 - Different processor. HDD instead of SSD.
Compare them correctly, pls.

It’s where they come to find a new home. Won’t you give a 14" laptop a new home?
Although, I like the specs this laptop offers, I have some concerns with this deal. As ThunderThighs noted, I also could not verify the mentioned mid $250 price point, which would be great as I’m shopping for my 10 yr old. I respect that Woot and Amazon have business models, however I found the same offering on the mothership for $30 less. I like the lower price more of course. https://www.amazon.com/HP-640-G2-Certified-Refurbished/dp/B07FRRJTT6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&keywords=HP+ProBook+640+G2+14"+Laptop%2C+Core+i5-6300U+2.4GHz%2C+8GB+Ram%2C+128GB+SSD%2C+Windows+10+Pro+64bit%2C+Webcam+(Certified+Refurbished)
The warranty is listed on the Features tab as “1 Year Joy Systems”, however the statement on their site via the link states
So are they offering 365 days or only 90? Furthermore, their site goes on to say
Should I only purchase a product supported by Joy Systems, from Rakuten.com instead of Woot or Amazon?
According to what’s on Amazon’s site,
“Joy Systems is the top Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher worldwide. Since 2001, we’ve refurbished over 4,000,000 desktops, laptops, tablets, and monitors.”
however, they only have 12 months worth of reviews.
Perhaps I’m over thinking this and it’s just time to let this one go…

Woot = HP’s dumping ground.
