Hi, would like to know if it’s 4 or 8 gig as well as if it’s a G1.

Anybody have any info on battery life with this unit will also be very helpful. Thanks

You could put 24GB of RAM in it and it still would not be worth the purchase. The display is is lame, 64GB eMMC (SD card memory) the CPU is Chromebook territory. This is a $200 laptop at best.

I wouldn’t say 200 but I think 300 is where it should be. The active pen is 50 bucks and it is new with a full year warranty. If you have a irresponsible kid who needs something to do homework, write papers and take notes on there are a lot worse options.

Any suggestions for laptops with similar specs at a lower price? I’m looking for 4GB RAM, 64GB or more storage, an 11" screen, the fastest processor I can get in the $200-$250 range, and I don’t particularly care about the touchscreen. Windows only, no Chrome OS.

How comfortable are you regarding something refurbished/used? You can get pretty good deals on Dell Venues with the keyboard/battery dock for around that. They are 3 year old devices but they are quite solid I’ve seen the i5 vpro model with 26 ssd and 8 gig of ram for a little over 200 bucks.

Interesting, thanks for the idea! I see one on Newegg for $195 with a Core M processor and Win 8. Do you (or anyone else) know whether these are available with Win 10? I’ve never used 8.

I bought one of these about a week ago and even though I’ve only had it a couple of days it seems very solid.

there is a work around for getting Win 10 free from Microsoft…but it is going away Dec 31st. https://www.cnet.com/how-to/microsoft-windows-10-free-upgrade-offer-assistive-features/
