The quality from franchise to franchise varies wildly. The one near me makes me sort of ill when I eat it-- I think it’s actually underdone, too (one time I popped it in the oven for a while and it was a lot better). The one near my parents’ house is absolutely astounding for how cheap it is. Loaded with cheese, the crust has a really nice texture, and the flavor is just great. But yeah, when it’s nasty, it’s nasty.
