Got one a couple of weeks ago. In perfect condition. Display is as good as laptops costing 3 times as much. Very pleased.
Had one for the past year. Fantastic Chromebook, no issues. Better typing experience than my old surface pro 4.
Does this have a BACKLIT Keyboard?
Don’t think so. Just practice a bit and you’ll remember where the keys are in the dark.
Just detach the keyboard and move it to where the light is.
Got one and when I turned it on, it said the OS was missing or damaged. Tried a Chromebook recovery (for tablet I finally figured out) and it wouldnt load the new OS. just keep getting same error screen. sending back unless someone has any other ideas.
Do they have a recovery file you can get from HP to boot with? It sounds like you know your way around but just thought I’d ask.
Egads, I’m very sorry. If you don’t come up with a solution, reach out to Woot Customer Service. It’s possible that since it’s warrantied by HP, they may be able to send you a recovery disk.
From a browser, use the Woot Customer Service form. In the Woot App, choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.
thank you, yeah tried the recovery file from google, using this model specific driver. i get it into recovery mode, then insert the usb drive with the recovery file, then it goes black and nothing. it is supposed to give me instructions on the screen to follow, but nothing. I even let go until the battery died from a full charge, and nothing. supposed to take a few minutes (up to an hour). ahh well.
Mine didn’t come with a pen, is that not included with the Chromebook?
