I didn't receive something I ordered

Not sure who or where to post but I ordered an item but haven’t received yet. I also sent to support to update my email and pw since my email is invalid and inactive. Can customer service here help me out with the order (and maybe update my email too)? I ordered on May 1, 2026. Thanks

Hi there, unfortunately we’re having trouble with updating emails at the moment, we have a system issue going on. Our CS team is trying to reach out to you, but just in case you don’t see their email - it looks like for your recent order, payment was denied. Please reach out to Amazon Pay for more information on why the payment was denied.

Thank you for following up. Please update my email once your system is fixed. I’ll continue to check my inbox for any updates from your CS team.

Regarding my recent order, I checked with Amazon Pay and the status is pending, which indicates the payment went through. Please process my order as soon as you can. Thank you for your help! I appreciate a lot

I contacted Amazon Pay and they emailed back saying that they were unable to figure out why the payment was denied. Maybe it was a glitch at the second. Anyhow, payment is pending now and should be able to go through. Thanks again for helping!

Hi! I’m just following up to see if there’s any news. I haven’t received an email from the CS team so far, but I wanted to check in just in case I missed about changing my email, as well as processing my order now that Amazon Pay has verified and pending. Thank you!

Unfortunately the order was denied originally since Amazon Pay was denied. Now that it’s verified, you’d have to place a new order. So sorry about that. CS has reached out to your old email twice, it may be worth setting up a new account tied to your new email. Apologies for the inconvenience!

Like I said, I am no longer have access to the old email. How can I check for that if CS sent to an old email? I just need to update my email and log in my account. I am sorry but it shouldn’t be that hard to update my new email in your system. Please update the email. I don’t want to create a new account. You already told me the CS was able to fix that, then fix that for me. Thanks

As for my order, the item I want is no longer available so I can’t order. I wish that somehow you can un-denied but I guess it’s a wishful thinking. But back to my email. I don’t have access to the old email, I just need to update my email to the account. You can call me or whatever method to verify that’s me.

Woot is currently locked out of the tool for assisting with email changes. :frowning:

So what’s now? I have to create a new account? Or do I just wait until your tool able to update my email? Thanks

It’s honestly up to you - we’re still working on getting access to our email change tool, and since the product you want isn’t available for re-order, it just depends on if you think you’ll need an account with an accessible email in the near future. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience.

I’d like to keep my current account since it has my past purchases. And I was hoping the product will be back in stock so I can order again (finger crossed) but not sure. I am still mad at my credit card/Amazon Pay for not able to pay so I can buy the product. Thanks

Since topic will close 4 days, I just wanted to continue follow up. I was hoping the system is able to update my email soon. Thanks

Unfortunately, we’ve been stuck since September and there’s no quick solution on the horizon. :frowning:

Can’t you go into your Woot acct and update the email yourself ? You shouldn’t need access to your old email account to give Woot a new one.…

They can if they remember the password. If they don’t, using the “Forgot password” link won’t work because it will go to the old email.

I have no access to my old email, and you need your password to update the email. I don’t remember my password.

So, either I have to wait for a while or creating a new account (which I will lose all my past orders)?

Sorry, I overlooked that. WELL … if your old inactive email has a method to be reclaimed (e.g. a backup email address so you can do lost password on the email account), you could try reactivating it.

This is a great use case for using password/credential managers to remember old passwords, accounts, etc. My credential manager store has a longer memory than some web sites (that have to flush things after being attacked/hacked). :man_shrugging:

Yeah, sorry. If you need help working with CS in the interim, you can ping me via private message. You still need to write to CS first though. I’m not customer service and if they don’t have a contact from you, I can’t help you either.

To private message me, click on my name on this post and then click on Message in the box that pops up. To check your PMs, click on your avatar in the upper-right corner of any page and then click on the envelope in the menu that appears.
