there’s a couple of options that come to mind. one is to collaborate with someone who is experienced. another is to get up to speed with help from the experienced people on woot and do it yourself.
if you want to do it yourself, this post helps explain some of the nuances to entering the derby. one thing you will need is a graphics program like photoshop or illustrator or gimp or inkscape (the latter two are free). if you don’t already have one, and want to enter the current derby, it may be too late for you to get up to speed by yourself for this derby, but getting a graphics program, learning to use it and going through the derby entry process would be useful for entering the derby in the future, so i’d say give it a shot. learning stuff is a good thing!
