I take my chili...
Beans, beans, good for the heart
Beans, beans, GREAT for the heart!
Either way
With beans, but no chili.
I like Wendy’s chili which has beans. No crackers, just their hot sauce.
As God is my witness, chili does not contain beans. It was created in Texas and by law does not have beans in it. Please listen to what I am saying.
I used to eat everything heavy with tomato, like chili, spaghetti, and whole. Today, there is something about age, heavy training, and tomatoes that don’t cooperate. So, unfortunately, I skip chili most of the time. Occasionally, if I am done training or resting, I will partake, and I prefer chili to be heavy in meat and have less to zero beans.
I really love beans. Give them to me without the chili. Really! Beans are the musical fruit.
I take my chili in a bowl
I’m in Texas. Lived here for over 30 years now. (and my father was a Texan)
Chili w/o beans is for hotdogs, hamburgers, or as some other topper.
Chili w/ beans is for eating on its own, as the main dish.
Silly question. It’s not chili if it has beans, it’s spiced beans.
I take my chili BEEFY! No turkey, no chicken, no “white chili” (whatever that even is). I can go either way with the musical fruit. I guess it depends on what I’m doing the next day.
If it doesn’t have beans, it’s for hot dogs.
The true origins of chili are unknown. Most attribute it to Canary Islander women who settled in San Antonio. Others claim it came from Mexico. A few Texas diehards claim the Texas Rangers created it.
Either way, but no kidney or black beans. And the spicier the better
Maybe bean less chill on a hotdog or tortilla chips.
