I think I now know why those mini Nestle crunch bars were so cheap here a couple of weeks ago

Some are just wrappers with air in them.

And I’d include a photo if the damn app wasn’t so screwed up on older Android versions…!

[Edit] Okay, I had to go to a different device with Android 11, and use a browser instead of that idiot app, to do this:

So it was just one?

If the bag is sold by weight, it probably wouldn’t make much difference, if one air wrapper slipped in… I’ve seen that just about every year in bags of Halloween candy bought at retail :woman_shrugging:t2:

Literally the fourth one out of the first bag was this.

They should just market these as zero calorie versions.

Write to nestle and show them a pic of the empty bags. They’ll likely give you some coupons or something.

Do it!

Then they refer me to Amazon, the dealer.

Then Amazon refers me back to Woot.

Ultimately, all three cackle at me in the dark.

Alternatively:

Nestle - Free coupons.
Woot - Partial refund and a coupon.
Amazon will be laughing.

No, write to Woot but also email nestle with the bag lot info and photos. Trust me.

There may even be a number to call on the bag.

We did that once, with a bag of chips that had a dead fly in it. Got 12 coupons for free bags of chips.
