Edit: I totally had the product page linked first, link stealer

Classic case of broken English on the product pics? Oy.

[MOD EDIT] Sorry, had to.

another robot that only does one thing. I need a robot that could operate my made for human devices.

I could never get enough of the Jetsons when I was young. When is Woot! gonna start selling Rosie clones?

I dunno. I think they’ll have to actually build her, then mass clone her, then refurb her. Now that I say that, seems like it could be a little while… Ha!

How does this compare to Roomba or Neeto vacuums?

According to the product pics, “cleaning performance of 98% of best in class.” I don’t think they intended the translation exactly the way it sounds. Their bar graph seems to claim that “A brand” and “B brand” (almost certainly Roomba/Neeto) perform at less than the iCLEBO’s 98% cleaning performance rating.

I have no first hand knowledge of its true performance, unfortunately. But you must agree that the written descriptions in those product images are priceless.

Looking at the reviews and reading between the lines it seems that the iCLEBO’s claim to fame is probably it’s biggest weakness.

Apparently it does rooms very fast but doesn’t do as good a job as you may like. I’ve seen comments of picking up 80% on the first run and that it’s great on hardwood but not so great on carpet/rugs.

That said it seems like it’s still a solid product. Most likely it’ll come down to what qualities you value most.

How loud is it??

Not sure but this looks suspiciously like what Miele is basing their robot the Scout off of

Mfg. verbiage was written by same guy that sent me emails that said I won the Jamaican Govt. Bobsled lottery. However, I need to send woot $299.99 for processing and $5 postage to collect my winnings. Ganja not included.

Yeah I’d uh…stick to the Roomba and Neato…

This is the first time I’ve seen this vacuum outside of South Korean TV. South Korean variety/game shows give away this vacuum as one of their most wanted prizes very frequently. I was always wondering what model vacuum they had been giving away all this time (as it doesn’t look like any of the brands I’ve seen sold here), but that color bar pattern is pretty unmistakable so I’m quite sure this is the one.

Picture six. That keming.

Methinks the iCLEBO will be coming to a woot!-off near you.
