It would, but I assume your TV doesn’t have a USB port so you would need to have a USB power adapter (Cheap on amazon) and plug this into the wall.

It’s AC powered.
(from the amazon listing: What’s in the Box
Stereo Speakers with USB Hub for PC and Laptops, QSG, AC adapter, audio cable (3.5 mm), instruction manual, and warranty card. from the woot listing: Power Requirement: AC 100V / 240V, 60Hz/50Hz )
Price Grabber shows a price of between $24.99 and $82.26 from various vendors. The USB ports only work when connected to a computers USB port. Seems like a good deal if you need one of these.
Um…those pictures make no sense. There’s a pic of it with someone holding a USB thumb drive above the speaker in one. Ok, so let’s say that thumb drive is loaded with songs. There’s no “play” button on the speaker. It’s not an mp3 player. So why would someone plug in a thumb drive?!
NO, it comes with an AC adapter to power the entire unit. 3.5 mm input to the in jack on the speaker, and 3 usb 2.0 ports are able to charge devices as well.
Caught my attention - I’m looking for a kitchen speaker setup that would work with my laptop or Sansa or Droid. This fits the bill, but without having heard the quality and not seeing testimonials in the positive, I’ll have to pass.
What I took a paragraph to say is this: Right type of gadget, wrong level of quality.
Awesome! My TV has a USB port and the sound isn’t bad but it’s not amazing. This will be perfect! Hooray! throws beads because it’s Mardi Gras SHOW ME YOUR BOOBS!
