USB 2.0 is the downfall of this external hard disk.
There is no reference in the specs to transfer speed or transfer rate or even drive RPMs.

Terrible deal. Grab yourself a 3TB USB 3.0 external (7200rpm) for $99 from a variety of places (Amazon, newegg, etc) instead of this thing.
Yup. Maybe at 1/2 that price. Maybe.
Ummm… given that $70 is about what I expect to pay (on sale) for a 2 TB external drive from a name-brand disk drive manufacturer (Seagate, Western Digital, etc.), I’m gonna pass on this ‘deal’

You can go to a local retailer and get a HP 1TB Brush. Alum HDD that runs USB 3.0, get it today for 79.99.
Thats just a quick search… I really do not see that value here.
