IMPERATORE Traditional Balsamic

IMPERATORE Traditional Balsamic

I am Christmas shopping for a foodie.

Can anyone comment regarding the quality of this product? I cannot find any online reviews of the product and very few of the importer (Casa de Case, Inc.).

Also, any comments as to true value? The product is 3.38 oz. Amazon has a 2.5 oz 30-year aged for $65 shipped. I realize, of course, that age is only one indicator of quality.

The DOP designation on Italian food products is a guarantee that it’s the best of the best, produced in the exact region it claims to be from (Modena is the best for balsamic) and under strict guidelines. Your foodie friend will be thrilled to get this.
