Manufacturer:
InFocus’s Page
The InFocus website lists this as $1,299.00.

Wal-Mart lists this product at $1,098.00.

ProjectorReviews.com has an in-depth review on this projector.

ProjectorCentral also reviews the projector, and it does pretty well too!

At this price it’s certainly worth it. Finally a nice woot. Too bad I already have a big screen HDTV.

#6

not enough lumens and contrast ratio…

#7

DLP IS the future.

#8

Nice price after rebate, but only 900 lumens? I need dusk in order to see well with 1100.

BizRate Prices… Price Range: $140 to $1,300 at 21 stores… lowest of the non-refurbs is probably $714 after a rebate of some sort.

MSN Shopping Prices… Price Range: $$750 to $1300 at 3 stores.

Shopzilla Prices… Price Range: $105 to $1,300 at 27 stores… again, it looks like $714 is the best “non-refurb” price.

PriceGrabber Prices… Price Range: $999 - $1,299 from 24 Sellers

…CNET’s broke, so i can’t find a review, but i bet its good. Seems like a good woot.

#10

Not a bad woot after rebate… but it downscales to 480p

If you are watching mostly DVDs, it’s perfect. But you can definately tell the difference if you are watching native 720p or 1080i.

Personally, I have a Dell 5100MP, and it kicks ass. But again, YMMV.

#11

looks like it should shoot laser beams… maybe its good for those sci-fi movies.

#12

Are they always SO expensive?

#13

this deal is better than 50% off with that rebate.

New projector, low resolution though… LIke they are selling brand new 1989 Pontiac Fieros.

#15

What is woot’s fascination and apparent obsession with expensive projectors???

#16

I’m waiting for their sister company to make its new projector:
OutOfFocus Out96. Worst product name since LeCar.

product haiku:

curving pleasingly
willing to show what I want
bright as a light bulb

#18

The specs were looking impresive until i saw Native Resolution: 854×480. Thats not even DVD. Not sure what spec that meets in addition has anyone seen the spec’s on 1080p/60? 60 Frames per second?

Nite Nite Wooters, I now return control of your monitor back to you.

#19

Okay, let’s just get it out there? How much for the lamp when it burns out?

#20

OOOOOOOH Nice! Do you mount or sit them though? I’ve always wondered that because it never says. My living room is only 20 x 20 (I know, it’s small), anyway is the picture gonna cover one of my whole wall when it’s on? Sorry don’t know much about these but this one is the coolest and cheapest one I’ve seen after the rebate and all! Thanks!
