Intel 600GB 2.5" SATA Solid State Drive

No deal here…

the Samsung 850 Pro 512Gb is currently $258 @ the mothership.

It is HUGELY faster - like 2x + in every benchmark!

You would be better off with the Samsung by far, this only has a relatively tiny capacity volume over the Sammy.

For $100, maybe $125 this MIGHT be a deal… @ $250 NO WAI!

And only 90 day warranty. Absolutely not a deal.

Yep, the 850 EVO is even cheaper- got one in mSATA 500GB for $200 the other day. Has free data migration too.

Ya even new this wouldn’t be a good deal.

Yeah and the Samsung Pro has a 10-YEAR(!!) warranty. 90 days? Trusting your data to a drive with a 90-day warranty - you have to be on something to make that call.

For just $350 you can get a 1gb EVO 850. The intel drives are good, but this isn’t a good deal.

++++++++++++++

Where is the 1tb for 350?

Thanks, Paul.

Aw man, now I want that Samsung. I wonder how easy it is to migrate from a RAID0?

Ignore the price, the word “refurbished” on a SSD… ummmm no.

Meh SATA II…much better deals out there.

Yeah, “refurbished”? Must not be done carefully, as my new Intel 480 GB SSD has a 5-year warranty. Looks like a dump sale…
