That fogged time up there really doesn’t reflect how long I was in the fog… In fact I was up in the fog for most of the week. I spent the last couple of days going in and out of the fog along with fireweed, who also deserves as honorable a mention as I got. Thanks so much for everyone who supported me the whole way through!
The fogged time represents how long you were in the fog between when you last entered it and when the derby ended. If shirt A was in the fog for 5 days, but dropped out an hour before the end of the derby, just barely squeaking back in before it ended, it would look silly to post the time as such, while third place was in for, say, only a day and a half. Because the fog must be estimated, the time in the fog is just as relevant as the hotness for estimating votes, but only if they use the amount of time between derby end and the last entry to the fog.
what happened to the mounties zambonie? i would have been so in for one of those… nice, but the periodic table one is the only one i actually somewhat like. still, congragulations artists.
makes me feel like summer is over and fall and winter are right around the corner…once again the people have disappointed me. I guess it’s better then the stupid cartoon character shirts that usually win.
Sorry DaedalusKnight. You were a strong contender and it was a tough call between the maple leaf and the polar bear. For me, I found the polar bear just a bit more my style, but I really liked your design. I hope we will see it again…maybe in a ‘best of the rest’ derby sometime down the line.
Congratulations on making the top 4. I know it’s a tough spot to be in, but you should be proud of the number of votes you got.
I’m shocked that Lake Ontario was not in the top three! It’s a beautiful design and a good representation of the Canada theme.
[We already had the polar-bears-and-penguin shirt, by the way. If WOOT is (wrongly) banning flying penguins, I’d say it was time for polar bears to go, as well.
