I purchased the combo from a previous woot and I like it. I get knots in the muscles in my back and it helps to work them out. This won’t replace a chiropractor visit or a deep tissue massage appointment, but for what it is, it does a good job. I would buy one again if it ever failed.

If I were to have any complaint about the product it is the massage pads. I’ve had this product for about 6 months and I haven’t replaced them yet, but I should. I typically use them on my back and lay on them, which isn’t a problem. They do still stick, but definitely aren’t what they used to be. Replacing them is pretty cheap though (less than a dollar per pad) and you don’t need to buy OEM.

PS: If you buy this product and decide to not read the literature that comes with it: I would advise not to put the pads on your face. :wink:

If you buy this product thinking it will help you get toned, you are crazy.

Go to the gym, lift some weights and do some cardio. There is no “fast, quick or easy” gimmick that will do it for you. Not directing my comment to andrewtl, just speaking in general.

Do some research or talk to your doctor before buying a product like this if you have concerns.

I have been using tens units for over 10 yrs., here’s a little VERY USEFUL TIP/TRICK 4 U

#1.REGARDING THE PADS…

USE ONE OF THOSE TRIANGLE MAKEUP SPONGE, YOUR CLEAN FINGER, OR COTTON COMPLETELY SOAKED SO IT DOESNT STICK…LOL! SOAKED IN RUBBING ALCOHOL, AND GENTLY BUT FIRMLY RUB THE STICKY SIDE UNTIL YOU CAN FEEL IT SUPER STICKY AGAIN!

#2. PAD PLACEMENT…
NEVER PLACE ON BONES!!! I HIGHLY SUGGEST TO SEEK A DOCTOR BEFORE YOU USE A TENS UNIT FOR PAD PLACEMENT!
MAKE SURE THAT THE PAD IS PLACED ON A MUSCLE “BONE FREE” AREA!!!

I DON’T KNOW HOW STRONG THIS UNIT IS… BUT BETTER SAFE THEN SORRY AND YOU END UP WITH NERVE DAMAGE!

I purchased these a month ago, I think. They’re good. Work just as they say.

Some settings are weird and it feels more like an electric shock.

I recommend starting at the minimum setting, so they don’t cause any surprise or pain… Yeah that happened to me.

Sometimes, depending on where you put them they make your muscles twitch and move, like on your upper back, near the shoulders (the scapula)

Anyways, the do take back pain away.

I had this unit on and my 2 year old grabbed the controller and turned it to full power. Wow! I never knew I could move so fast! Lol
