I briefly thought we were seeing the long awaited return of Sansas.

Massage devices are cool too though I guess…

Check out the product page for the IQ combo

These get me, every.single.time.

MORE SANSA, LESS TENS, WOOT!

Why does this item not ship to Canada, if it is approved for Canada?

You can get them, but these folks probably don’t want the paperwork and shipping expenses.

I still use my Sansa EVERY day, love it! (My tens is ok too)

“Have you ever wanted to learn about functional electrical stimulation using your favorite MP3 player? Now you can! Plug your Stimulation Cable into your music playing device, then hook it onto the electrodes placed in the cockroach leg. Play your favorite song, watch the leg dance to the beat”

I love my TENS/EMS device that I have. I do have one concern about this one. It looks like the electrode pads are connected by snaps. On most devices the electrodes are connecte through “pins”. Do these require propriatory replacement electrodes?

Be careful to check the unit’s display when you get it - The last tens item I purchased from woot came with the incorrect -Chinese- display, and as unsafe as it was, woot would only give me a couple of dollars credit, even though there was no way to use it… When asked if they could send a different unit instead, they said nope! Real classy experience to get my $40… And I’ve purchased over 200 woots in the last four years…

Walmart actually carries snap compatible TENS pads in their pharmacy dept, near the pain meds… They are of good quality…

I’ve owned several TENS units. This one works great and it’s the best of all I’ve tried. All of them have used the snap type connectors. I’ve never seen the pin type that guy is talking about. As part of this deal IQ will offer you a special deal on replacement pads. They’re OK but you can get them a lot cheaper at Amazon.

PS The sandals are too small to be of any use on my size 13’s. The back pad requires the use of a gel that’s not provided. I found it to be too sloppy and just use the standard pads.

Sansa’s would be great!I should give you my phone number, in case those ever come up.

I was actually checking out this thread to see if anyone was investigating trans-crainial stimulation with these. Radiolab, (a very cool podcast) looked into some research using these kind of things for brain smarteners. (‘9 volt nirvana’) I’m not going to be a guinea pig though. And, never trust a post that uses the word ‘smarteners’.

What size do you think the sandals are? I’m about a size 11 US.

Sounds like a job for a PayPal refund request. Their purchase protection would cover this. In addition, instructions in a different language would violate their right to sell it in the USA (see http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/cdrh_docs/pdf14/k141260.pdf) where the FDA has set forth "requirements for annual registration, listing of devices, good manufacturing practice, labeling, and prohibitions against misbrandingthat device labeling must be truthful and not misleading.

An advertisement in to an English speaking audience in an English speaking country for a device that has instructions on screen in a different language would certainly violate these provisions.

I’m quite sure there was a menu setting to change the language. Was the manual all in Chinese as well?

I’m the same size and the sandals fit me OK, they are somewhat adjustable with the velcro strap and you want a snug fit. That being said I find using the pads easier even on the feet since you would have more mobility as the sandals really aren’t something you’d want to walk a lot in… I bought more pads from Amazon from ‘Heatnclick’, they appear identical to the IQ brand. Also from Amazon some Spectra 360 Electrode Gel for better conductivity as the pad surface becomes irregular from body hair etc
