Great little device.

And now back to our regularly scheduled programming…

Ahhh, roomba my old friend! We missed you at the last woot-off!! I’m sure we’ll be seeing you at the next!

i love my roomba’s…i have two working ones now. i’ll wait for the next new one. btw if you decide you want a refurb roomba…make sure you get a square deal warranty.

Wrong, this roomba doesn’t have the schedule programming feature. :stuck_out_tongue:

Previous Woot!

This thing seems to get more expensive each time I see it listed here…picked it up for $129 a couple of years ago…

Should I get a third one?

No, I really don’t need it (the first two are great, mostly for cleaning up after my cats) but I don’t need a third.

No.

I don’t.

Must. Stop. Myself.

What’s that? Oooo, Sake!

get a cat on that roomba!

Actually, it does, though it doesn’t have the display or come with the remote.

(My daughter hooked ours up to an Arduino and uses the Arduino to program it, though you can do it from a PC (or Mac, if you want) as well.)

We’ve loved our 530 for over a year. It’s become a member of the family. (We call her Ruby.)

With Christmas coming up, this will be a great gift for my mother-in-law!

I loved my Roomba. How he would scurry across the floor meticulously sweeping/vacuuming. The random patterns that would amuse us. It was like having a tidy little pet around the house. He would clean while I was at work and be all charged and ready to do more when I came home. You can imagine my sadness at his sudden demise from a stray dog cookie that somehow choked Roomba.

Roomba needs to be a part of my life again but I really can’t spend the money right now. Back to the boring but economical broom.

A little to technical for me. Step by step instructions would be wonderful though

Mine lasted for about 3 uses, never actually completing the sweep and returning without stopping somewhere else because the battery ran down. Then it finally stopped. Then I found that the warranty was very brief, as this is a refurbished model. They offered to sell me a partial unit for $130 to replace it. Had to spend a lot of time cleaning the rollers of hair and such. Using a regular vacuum takes me less time. Mine went into the trash.

I almost bougt one at target today for 200 but did not, thinking one would be on here. today woot read my mind. a little creepy, but awesome.

Happy to bring the first roomba into my household.
