Roombas, how do they know where to go if we don’t push them?

I bought this item last time it was up for $20 more. I would buy again. It does great on the hardwood/vinyl tile floors. Only issue is that I have 2 cats and 2 dogs and I have to clean the brush and wheels frequently or I get error codes.

Does it do a good job of cat hair and things like kitty litter on a hard floor?

Yes, and one is a Maine Coon, so super fluffy. My heeler sheds a ton too. I gasp every time I empty it out because of how much hair it gets.

I want one of these, but I have to take the dog to the vet tomorrow, and who knows how much THAT will be.
