I have only ever used one Roomba many, many moons ago where they just bounced around cleaning erratically. Since then I have only used Neato bots. Are these newer Roombas still cleaning in the same clumsy way as the old ones? I am looking for another vacuum but I only want something that cleans as methodically as the Neato bots.

The Roomba 675 is Vacuum War’s budget pick and it uses random navigation instead of a mapping system. For an additional $20, the $200 Wyze Robot Vacuum adds “lidar” mapping so it can vacuum in rows and the ability to draw virtual walls in its map.
