The subject line says it all.
The forums are. Otherwise I use google’s “site” option. For example: ring camera site:woot.com
If you search the forums and sort by latest topic you might find what you want. Maybe. It’s possible anyway.
Define “searchable”.
Some deals don’t get discussion threads, so this is flawed, but it works ok.
Like this for ring

Not in any useful sense and I have no clue why. Since woot has gone full on retailer with dozens upon dozens of offerings at a time - all spread out across numerous multiple pages - it’s asinine not to have some kind of a search feature. But… what do I know?
Amazon is like an organized department store with signs and sections. Woot is like a flea market where your can find gourmet cheese sold right next to bacon lube and $3000 TVs.
Damn it. I must have missed the bacon lube.
Exactly like one of those flea markets where the stall owners are hoarders who don’t actually sell anything but you can usually get some sketchy tea and dvds for an ok price so you don’t go home empty handed. You’re only going for the entertainment.
Good times:
I miss the old woot that didn’t need a search.
And when it briefly did, the results only led to B0Cs.
I mean, who wants those?!?
I’m going to start a new deals site now I’ve left. I’m calling it huh. It’s kinda not as dismissive as a meh, but not as excited as a woot. It’s just like, huh. I’ll list a deal a day, but it will always be turducken.
The sad part is, you just need to do a Kickstarter (or whatever the kids use these days), and get a couple of sites to pick up on it.
Soon you’ll be raking in the money.
Came to this forum to ask the same thing. It’s ridiculous to have to manually scroll thru 20 pages of random stuff (frequently in several different areas) just to see if Woot has a specific kind of thing for sale. At least let us search the item titles.
