It's Halloween month! Are you celebrating?
Spooky season!
Just here for the tricks.
It’s that time of the year for consuming Fun Size candy
Where’s my candy?
I’ve never been into the spooky side of Halloween. I remember my costumes growing up as an Air Force pilot, GI, Cowboy, Police officer, etc. I got a large briefcase at a yard sale. It became a prop for a lawyer costume for the school and townwide trick-or-treating. A lawyer in town got a kick out of it. So yeah… a lawyer is as spooky as I ever reached, which can be pretty spooky for some people.
My kids are into Star Wars. They have a full cast with Grogu, the Mandalorian, Boba Fett, and Han Solo. I should surprise them by appearing in a costume.
So ready for Halloween! We got our candy, 200 rubber ducks to hand out and my awesome costume! Woohoo!
Not a fan of Halloween for the most part, but my husband is itching to get his 12 foot skeleton set up
Celebrating? No. Decorating the shop? Sure.
I like the Reeces commercial where the kid says he likes Halloween because he gets Reeces Cups for free, and the dad says “Son, your six… all of your Reeces Cups are free”
Halloween is just another excuse to buy more candy.
My answer isn’t an option. I don’t dislike Halloween, but I don’t particularly like it. I don’t even put out candy (where I live very few people come by or I might), but I don’t dislike it.
I might be but I don’t know where I’m going to go
It’s fine. I like how other people get excited about it. May or may not do a costume this year.
There’s got to be something between favorite time of the year, and just putting candy out. I love autumn and Halloween. I have such wonderful and terrifying childhood memories. I have to give my vote to Thanksgiving though. It’s when the family gathers to watch the Christmas lights turned on at the country club plaza. Theres live music in the closed off streets, and fireworks immediately after the lights come on. We always follow it up with a delicious (expensiv) meal. Then about a week later we gather at Mom’s for a home cooked meal. But candy and jack-o’-lanterns, and costumes are great as well!
Not that much, but I do like a good David S Pumpkins fix…
