I also received a filthy unit, but thought “Oh well, I will just wipe it down and it will be fine.” PSYCH! The bluetooth functionality did not even work. I updated the firmware and tried streaming from multiple devices to no avail. Only the 3.5mm option would work.
Emailed woot, they are having me send it back for a refund. Bought another refurb off a different site for ~20 bucks cheaper. Hopefully this one is in better condition.
Sad that they are selling these as “refurb” when they clearly weren’t tested adequately if at all. Thanks, woot
Same story as everyone else. I actually purchased mine before they corrected the “refurb” issue, but I let it go. Product shows up in piss-poor packaging, is cosmetically damaged, and barely works. Waiting on a reply from Woot.
