So why would you want a camo version of this - just to make easy to not be able to find when you take it camping???

You never know when an incognito party may break out.
I think the idea is so it is harder to steal if folks cannot see it. That probably only applies to the deaf however.
I reviewed this last time it was here. My son used to work for their parent company and got me one at his discount which was not much lower than this price. It is a great product. I really like it. I have used it on a pontoon boat and had no trouble being louder than the engine when the driver was full throttle.
