Or you could say:
“Hey Woot! these are currently cheaper on the mothership at $79.99”
Then they can either reduce the price or stop their sale. It is so much nicer to be nice.
Woot is owned by Amazon! They know what they’re doing so be quiet and don’t be condescending! Take your own advice!
They are owned by Amazon, but they are not Amazon.
Woot is an independent subsidiary of Amazon. Basically, Woot sets it’s own prices but Amazon’s prices are fluid and change a lot. When the sale was set up Woot checks to verify they have the lowest price. Then changes happen elsewhere.
If you find a lower price it’s appreciated when you nicely share that information in the forums with a link to the lower price. The link isn’t necessary, but it makes it easier for Woot to verify the information you shared.
When the price is proven to be lower Woot can cancel their sale or sometimes lower their price.
