Those reviews are for a different product . . . looks like a Bluetooth speaker designed for iPads, while this is a little dock/speaker for iPhones . . .

I’m just curious as to if this works with phones in cases . . .

Well crap, you’re right. I’ll delete it.

ThunderThighs said “Crap” and there was no Bag involved!

Is this the one that was for sale here recently, that someone in the comments section said turns the volume OFF in 10 minutes, if you are listening to an app other than the built in Music / iTunes app?

The one that was offered on Woot a few days ago was the “OnBeat Venue LT”. That one is much larger, and it has a few additional features (like Bluetooth and better bass).

I have an iPhone 5S in one of the leather cases offered from Apple. It’s about the thinnest case you can get, and, unfortunately, I cannot plug my iPhone into the built-in dock while the phone is in a case.

However, this “micro” speaker has a USB plug in the back. You could bypass the built-in dock and plug your phone in using the USB plug and a regular USB to lightning (or any other) cable. I realize that sort of defeats the purpose of the dock, but at $35, this is a steal.

Thanks for the chuckle, Woot! Got my speaker early this morning, and by late morning received an email stating that the item has been shipped!

Well, the email was no lie, right? Sorry about the fail.
