Honestly, it looks more like a dowel made into a handle not a plank.

Hey, does anybody know if this is a good idea?
We have several vets here arguing about not using a press because you want to keep the juices in the burger. Some are arguing you need one to get great grill marks. Some nurses are saying “don’t squish the burgers.”
Anyone a barbecue aficionado? Any tips?
