Review from Digital Trends and BestBuy Users

I don’t own THIS particular item, but I own and have owned many JLab items and I’m a huge fan. I’d buy this too but I already bought several other Bluetooth speakers this year from Woot.

So, why would you connect it up via Bluetooth verses connecting it via a 3.5mm audio cable?

I have this very speaker and I love it. it synchs quickly and easily to my macbook, and my iphone. It’s loud, has decent sound quality and the battery lasts a long, long time. even when playing it at a high volume. It feels solid and sturdy without being too heavy.

Even though the batter lasts a super long time, if you use the cable, the battery lasts a lot longer. I guess it’s also in case u have some prehistoric audio device that doesn’t have bluetooth.

I have this speaker and after about 3 months the volume buttons stopped working. I can only control the volume via mp3 player. Kind of annoying, and I know it’s not at full volume. I would’ve returned it, but I forgot where I bought it from

I use a Sansa Clip. No bluetooth.

So only 5 dollars more after shipping with amazon prime? I wouldn’t exactly call this woot-worthy. Bring back the cheap and ugly colored eaton rukus

C’mon woot - there is a better deal on Groupon - $49.99 with free shipping…

Yep, I agree with the last two posters. If this were a better deal, would have jumped on it. :frowning:

I was highly disappointed with this product.
They lied about the size of it. The dimensions they give are actually the size of the BOX it comes in!

I have this speaker and love it. It has remarkable sound quality for its size and price, and it is very easy to use. I use the cable when the battery dies, or with our old Macboook which cannot connect to any device with bluetooth.

So you wanted a BIGGER speaker to accompany your bluetooth device?

I got this last woot deal but it was $35 then. It is a good little speaker (considering its size) but IMHO not worth $50. It has been as low as $30 before.

JLab is great about warranty returns. There is a simple web form in which you enter the serial number.

I got this on a previous woot, the original unit AND the replacement stopped taking a charge after a few months’ use. I’m on the third one now, so far no problem but I’ve only had it a month and a half. I love the speaker, and am grateful for the simple warranty service. But I wish one would last.

I bought a Bose wireless speaker for my Wife and I became sold on the wireless concept. However, I’m not made of money, so I had to take a chance on the JLab Crasher. It was plug-n-play. I connected immediately to my tablet and now i have a nice sound system for watching movies. The battery seems to last forever and the sound quality is more than adequate. Not a Bose, but very nice for the price.
