Just to be clear: The deal is for 8 various-purpose kitchen knives, 4 steak knives, and 1 acrylic knife block to hold the kitchen knives only.

The count in the photo tripped me up for a bit until I noticed that there was a yellow knife hidden behind the lime green one.

Looks like the steak knives are on their own when it comes to storage.

I have an old green Pure Komachi santoku that I bought because it had fun vegetable images stamped into the tang. I’ve probably had it for around 10 years and I am not careful with it and never do anything sensible to maintain it and it’s still sharp and usable. The colored finish on the blade definitely picks up stains, though.
