This is like the blunt-tip scissors from kindergarten.
Nakiri knives are thin and rectangular. Not pointed like a chef’s knife, but for different purpose. One Amazon review said this one in particular is “wicked sharp.” Think 7 inch razor blade with a handle. They are designed for veggies which tend to need a broad cutting surface, not stabby knives. Can thin slice chilled meat but will chip if they hit bone.
I’m a “Blade Man” myself…… From elementary school, to Operations in the Military, (Navy Combat Diver) and we’ll just leave it at that….
Blades were/are , my “Specialty”…… and there’s just SOMETHING ABOUT a HIGH QUALITY… RAZOR SHARP BLADE in your hand ……Even in the kitchen… (Smile) , that makes a “Smile of Satisfaction”… slowly spread across my face ……
Thank you so much for your “Comment” , that HOPEFULLY ENLIGHTENED some of the incessant “Nay-Sayers” …. who “Speak without Thought” , or else just LOVE to Expose their “Surplus of Stupidity”….for ALL THE WORLD to SEE……
It’s quite Nice to know that there is ANOTHER “Blade Man” out there …….
I made a 3-D printed handle, using Wood-PLA filament. How does it look? Note: I need to set the rivets a little tighter.
Looks nice PB. Old World meets the New World.
