I’m a girl and I thought they looked girly too. I’d like a pair, but my feet aren’t that big and I don’t know if I can spend $40 on a pair of flip-flops.

I wear size 11 and ordered size 11.5. Hope they’re right!
Well…I followed the recommendation and ordered a half size larger. Guess what? They are exactly a half size too large!
I’m stuck unless someone else wants to swap their 11 for my 11.5. In the future I suggest ordering your normal size.
I normally wear a bit larger than a 12, so nearly always have to buy a 13. I ordered a 13…
First thought on unboxing, “that is a LOT SMALLER than 1/2 size!”
Second thought, “these look previously opened” when seeing the bits of dust, etc stuck to the soles.
Third thought, “no way will that ever fit” when holding it up to my foot.
Sure enough, the box says 13 but the tag and label on the sandals reads 9.5. (Yes, US size.)
I’ve had a lot more problems with my orders this year than years past. Always handled promptly so kudos to customer service, but still I weary of the repeated aggravation.
Maybe in the future it will not matter what size you order when woot is shipping “open box” random sizes (even calling them “new”)…
I msg’d them just before my post. They responded tuesday afternoon with a “send them back, here’s a label.” Managed to get them to the post office just before they closed Tuesday night.

Interesting. I wonder if this is a relatively wide-spread problem? Stock was supposed to be surplus but was actually store/customer returns?
Hopefully they’ll decide to just credit your account, but I would ping them again with your case number just to see what’s up. Probably the woot off has them busy at the moment.
