Just got this and tried it out today, cleaning the skin/tendons off a pack of chicken tenders. I was pleasantly surprised by the blade’s sharpness out of the box, and relieved at how natural it fit in my hand since at first I thought the fat handle was going to be awkward. 7 inches also appears to be just about the perfect length cough. It is NOT made in the USA, the package states it originates from China. Blade seems solid though, and I look forward to putting an even better edge on it and getting to work. Worth the price.
