$22.48 on the mother ship and prime shipping eligible.
[MOD EDIT] Those don’t ship for 3-5 weeks.
I got this the last time and I do like it but am surprised at how heavy it is. The specs say 5.25oz.
Really Woot? You can’t even undercut your overlords anymore? I remember when woot! was once a guy place to buy…
I think that’s a 3890 vs. 3890X. X might include the clip.
And they’ll ship it to my door in upstate NY.
Annoyed that I had to send it in for warranty right out of the box. The blade was loose, and the locking mechanism wasn’t fully engaging. Good thing that Kershaw has an excellent warranty, just that the postage ate up the savings.
Otherwise, it is a very nice looking cheapo folder, especially the blade.
Made in China?
Yeah… Previous sale comments indicate that it is from China… which reminded me of why I didn’t buy it last time…
I like a heavier knife for working on stuff. Too many knives are flimsy and don’t hold up under the work I do as a Scoutmaster.
They heard you loud and clear and raised the price to $31.89. That’s one way to make Woot look better, LOL.
It’s still $22.48 if you select Amazon as the seller (which then get’s you prime). Sure they are out of stock but still…
beware … made in china … this should have been disclosed … would not have purchased …
Do the research - a quick google will show. Plus, how do you think it’s so cheap with the cost of American wages, taxes, etc? (I know not everyone is versed in the mechanics of business or economics but still…)
I have read that the X in the model number indicates that the knife is sold in the blister pack rather than in the cardboard box. My most recent kershaw purchase did not have an X in the model number and was packaged in a cardboard box.
I was about to order one until I realized that these are not tactical…
This knife seems heavy to me, so I got the Kershaw Zing, 3oz and stainless steel for less. If it’s an every day carry, then I want a light sturdy knife.
