LOL - my favorite title BOC name. I was wondering when/if it was going to show up - hee hee :).
what generation are these?
and there’s still time to grab a bag as of 4:40pm eastern
Would this be a decent upgrade from my OG Nook? I mean, for $15, it seems cheap as hell, but… it also has way more advanced wifi. :-/
On the main page it says “Free Shipping” but when I added this to my cart it shows $5 shipping. Is Woot lying or am I doing something wrong?
why would you need a built in keyboard on an e-reader?

You should see $5 shipping on the checkout page, and then an automatic coupon applied for $5 off to compensate.

Notes, searches, etc. Some people find it easier with buttons.
I was looking for a cheap kindle, would have preferred no keyboard, but couldn’t pass this deal up.
Thanx woot!

It’s a pretty fantastic name. Too bad I already snagged one today…

why would you need a built in keyboard on an e-reader?
Because this Kindle does not have touch screen. (At least my Kindle Keyboard doesn’t, as it was an early Kindle.)

That’s one of the reasons I bought a Nook instead. The touch screen seemed like a much more useful option.
What is woot primo. Do I have to pay for this?

A bag? Like a cover for this kindle?

3rd generation. These were before the touch came out. Our library used to have a couple of this type to borrow that were pre-loaded with books. I was surprised at how easy on the eyes the display was.
