t’s a nice reader, but the battery life is terrible compared to my older Kindles. It only lasts a day, maybe two with heavy reading. I double checked Amazon’s spec of six weeks, and that’s based on 30 minutes a day.
I agree. The battery life on my oasis seems to be lacking compared to the paperwhite. I bought my oasis new so it’s not just a “refurbished thing” either. I do like the additional screen real estate and I’ve always preferred buttons for page turns rather than swiping. At full retail price I don’t feel like there’s enough of a difference to warrant the extra price of the new oasis compared to the current generation paperwhite.
