I’ve got this one. Great deal. Works quick no problems yet.

Hardware at bookstores arent usually that great of a deal. Software on the other hand is usually awesome.

Wow. 95/100 from the AlaTest reviewers. Plus, 8GB. Cool…

I just bought two of these from Buy.com for $30 w/ free shipping last week, and I thought THAT was a good deal. I haven’t really had a chance to use them so I can’t give any impressions though.

This is an excellent deal.
I got 2 the last time it was on woot, and they work great!
You can’t beat this price!!!

Great drive but bought it on the bay for 10 whole bucks free ship … trying to get another at that price…not a terrible woot as retail is around 40 bucks or so…

I got one of these last time it was on sellout. It is a pretty decent deal. They are kind of slow, but they work for Portable Apps (but not ready-boost). The slider is tight when you get it out of the box, but it loosens up quickly. The only annoyance is that its really irritating to try to get something through the lanyard loop. If you put your drive around your neck or in your pocket its no big deal, but its almost impossible to get a ring the right size to get it onto your key-chain.

For the price, I’m in for two more.

Why does this happen to me…

I bought mine for so much more a few days ago.

Doesn’t seem like a spectacular woot tho if you can get it from walmart for $2 more and be able to go to the store and get an immediate refund… I still bought one from woot… b/c it’s woot…

bad deal. newegg has the 8gb kingston dti for 19.99 with free shipping, plus a free newegg laundry hamper

I feel like I’ve lost perspective on how much personal data needs to be carried around on a usb stick. I’m rocking 512mb and I’ve never felt under prepared. Maybe I’m just doing it wrong :frowning:
