Good deal for anyone with a mid-level PC that didn’t include an SSD. Nice that the kit includes a USB adapter so it can function as an external rescue drive if need be.
Not ideal for people just looking for extra space; extra space doesn’t need to be fast, just cheap. And there are cheaper, bigger (maybe not both) alternatives.

It appears to be similar at a better price and faster read/write speeds, but maybe I’m missing something.
The USB enclosure is USB 2, NOT USB 3.
That will still work fine, but not as fast.
