The Primula cast iron teapots cannot be used on the stove unfortunately. They may only be used to steep tea by pouring boiling water into them. You can only leave your hot water in there for no more than an hour as well. Just a heads up!
Does the Vac 'n Save 7-Piece Set comes with the pump? It doesn’t say so in the spec and its included in the 17 piece set so I want to be sure.
How about listing capacity and dimensions on the Zyliss Mixing Bowl & Colander Set? In the meantime, I’ll be shopping over at Kitchen Collection’s website.
Why is it that the 12 oz Snap ‘n’ Seal containers are priced higher than their regular price? That makes no sense. Someone obviously doesn’t know how to put items on sale. I want to get some, but I’m not going to pay over their regular price. Defeats the purpose of this site.
Cuisinart CBT-500BWFR PowerEdge™ 1000 Watt Blender
As the description section says, and Amazon agrees, it’s only 600 watts, NOT 1000 watts.

Thanks for the 411. No hot water in them for more than an hour ? They aren’t really worth using except as a decorative item.
Or maybe a weapon if someone breaks into your kitchen.
They are teapots, not kettles. They aren’t for heating the water; they are just for making tea.
My teapot is ceramic, not cast iron, but I’m probably going to get one of these. Here’s my tea-making process:
Heat water in kettle.
Pour hot water in pot to heat it.
Heat more water for tea, then let it cool to desired temperature.
Pour water out of kettle.
Put tea leaves in pot.
Pour hot water into pot.
Steep as long as desired.
Strain tea into cups or just pour carefully.
Some people use tea bags or infusers, but I find that leaving the (whole) leaves loose makes better tea, and it makes better use of the tea.
This process isn’t for everyone, but it really is a standard way of making tea.
Are these are the exact same teapots they sell at cost plus?

They seem to have slightly different patterns/colors, but otherwise are the same.
I believe they’re a little cheaper there too ![]()
For the flowering teas 12 flowers times 15 cups makes 180 cups, not over 250.
why did the snap and seal 12oz rectangularcontainerArtland 37002 Snap & Seal 12oz. Rectangular Container
$14.99 change in price or is 100% higher than the list price of $7.49, this must be a mistake, right?
The Flowering Tea Set(Flowering Tea Set) that you have listed as being $34.99 originally is only $29.99 originally according to their website. http://primulaproducts.com/flowering-teas/tea-flowers-with-glassware/tea-experience-gift-set-40oz-tea-pot-glass-infuser-and-lid-with-6-flowering-green-tea-and-3-25g-packets-of-loose-tea-in-black-white-and-green-tea-flavors.html
I think someone mistyped (by adding a “1” in front of the 4.99) for the 12 oz Snap&Seal container. Even the largest ones (now sold out) were no more than $6.99.

The shape of that one is slightly different, so I’m guessing they’re not exactly the same. I have a different iron teapot from World Market ( http://www.worldmarket.com/product/aqua-butterfly-teapot.do ), which is shaped just like the one offered here but shows a capacity of 24 ounces instead of 28.
As noted by others, this a teapot, not a kettle, so naturally you wouldn’t use it to boil water. I don’t know where the info about not leaving hot water in the pot for more than an hour comes from; I couldn’t find anything about that in a web search. (The description says it keeps tea hot for up to an hour, but that doesn’t mean you have to pour it out at the end of that time.) I set my teapot on top of a kettle of water at a low simmer, as a makeshift samovar to keep the tea warm for much longer than an hour, and I’ve had no issues with rust. Just be sure to dry the inside thoroughly before putting the pot away.
Saw the Cuisinart coffee grinder at for $20, new. Stock looked low, though. Do want, not sure yet.
Loving the $0.30 (2%) discount on the mandolines - you’ve sure come a long way over the years, Woot.
Not impressed with the silicon mittens. Got 2 because I’m a klutz and thought the fact that they came up my arms a ways would be nice. Got them yesterday, so tested them a bit. First off, they are ENORMOUS (They are longer than my forearms. I’m not exactly a T-Rex.) to the point where they’re barely in the range of usable for that. Ok, fine, I can cut them down to fit, no problem. Used them (without cutting them down) this morning to pull a thin sheet pan out of a 400F oven, and almost burnt my thumb INSIDE the mit in the process (My kitchen is only about 3 seconds from oven to stovetop. Even the thin cloth potholders work better.)
Glad I discovered this before using them for anything serious like deboning a hot roasted chicken or anything, but disappointed. They’re much thinner than the old (lost in a move) silicone gloves I’d had before. Guess I’m still hunting for better ones. (At least I didn’t spend twice as much on Amazon for these?)
I ordered the Chef’n 8-Piece Measuring Cups & Bowl Set in Radicchio (purple) on December 16th and received the yellow ones instead. I’ve contacted Woot several times about what to do as I do not want the yellow ones but they have not responded as of yet. Did anyone else have this problem? Should I returned them to Woot regardless?

I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t heard back from Woot Member Services.
I’ve gone ahead and forwarded your inquiry along to Woot Member Services to help expedite a response.
Thank you for your continued patience while they attend to the issue.
The set of bamboo cutting boards (Totally Bamboo Cutting Board Set) went through the dishwasher once and started shedding fibers of bamboo.
In other news, the Zyliss onion chopper (Zyliss Onion Chopper) works like a charm!
