I tried one of these years ago and it was awful. It didn’t have the power to cut through a can and was very cheaply made. I returned it and purchased a quality hand opener that has been going during since.
They’ve probably improved a lot in the year since you got the bad one. I have a similar one different brand that I got from temu, I charged at 6 months ago and I use it every time I open a can it’s still got a good charge. And I really like the way it doesn’t leave any sharp edges. I Don’t have this brand, so I can’t say specifically that it’s any good. But I love the cheap one that I have, I keep waiting for it to need to be recharged.
I had one of those around 20 years ago, it ran on batteries though. I loved it! And it didn’t leave sharp edges on the cans. It’s funny how IDK what ever happened to it and WHY it’s not in my kitchen arsenal today? Hmmm… 
Why can’t I order this item?
I got this at a garage sale I think for a dollar probably about 12 years ago. Took me awhile to get used to it but I love it. Doesn’t leave sharp edges and it’s great. I don’t know if I would pay $20 for it but maybe I don’t know. I think if somebody knew what it did and how compact it is maybe I would buy it again.
