4.9/5 star review on their site

Of course it is…

Good reviews (4.4 stars, 29 reviews) on the red version over at the Mothership. I’m pretty sure it’s the same aside from color, given the model number.

Seems like a good deal, and I’m in need of a new cookware set.

Target.com:
4.9/5 (49 reviews) for the non-colored version (KCSS10), listed at $159.99
4/5 (6 reviews) for the red version (KC2SS10), listed at $119.99

Walmart.com:
4.9/5 (20 reviews) for the non-colored version (KCSS10LS), listed at $198.95

Not sure from where Woot’s getting their $349.99 list price.

Also not certain whether there are more variances with the different model numbers outside of their coloring but they certainly look the same.

Seems like a good deal no matter what. Just not as big a deal as they’re making it out to be.

Either way… I’m tempted…

Bought this set from Woot about two years ago. Quality cookware, but is not non-stick. Must be seasoned in order to prevent sticking issues. Pulled my hair out following advice/direction that technique was the issue. Sticking problems stopped after I seasoned the pans.

It’s that price on Kitchenaid.com

Are these the ones with an aluminum core and magnetic 18/0 stainless steel base?

Checked quite a few sites and couldn’t find anything on the core but the [-404750/KCSS10QG/]product page](Kitchen Appliances to Bring Culinary Inspiration to Life | KitchenAid[KCSS10QG) mentions the 18/0 magnetic stainless steel base.

Can you grab the handles without needing an oven mitt? I’ve had an old Farberware set that has served me well except handles get too hot. This would be a good opportunity to upgrade. Thanks for any recommendation based on your experience.

If you are needing a cookware set,
this is probably the one to get.
It’s made by Kitchen Aid,
so don’t be afraid.
A decision you won’t soon regret.

Saw a post locally off FB from a friend who had an issue with a pan and was able to get a new replacement pan after 10 years or so of using it…some Kitchenaid products have a lifetime guarantee…well worth the price if that is the case with this set.

You’ve sold me

A major magazine reported
that Kitchen Aid’s good, they sure did.
And yet I am told
that the standard that’s gold
Is All-Clad if you can afford it.
