Regular aluminum pans have best heat distribution but they warp at high temp. Steel doesn’t, so this combines the two. I’m not sure why you’re so mad. Good quality pans aren’t cheap.
Just because you may be adverse to baking or roasting veggies, it doesn’t mean the rest of us are. Take a breath and have a seat. I don’t know who hurt you, but there’s no need to take it out this quarter sheet pan!
Also, why do you assume that if this were a gift for a child or young person, they wouldn’t be excited to bake holiday cookies?
