KitchenAid is offering a $50 rebate on this model
It says in the small print “from qualified retailers.” or something close to that.

Do purchases here qualify ?

Purchased one of these the last time they popped up for my mom and it is the best thing ever - she has never had a stand mixer of any kind and this mixer is great and she can not stop talking about how “awesome” it is - plus she’s kind enough to let me come over and borrow it! (Did I mention that it makes the best mashed potatoes ever? yum!)

Tons of comments from when these were offered in November

Great reviews (4.7 out of 5.0) over at

These were for sale right before thanksgiving on woot previously, I submitted one and I’m sure other people did as well, but I think it will take like 6-8 weeks to process - but in the other thread you will note that woot does not include packing slips in these items and it does say they need a copy of the receipt or packing slip - I just printed out the page that i purchased it from and hope that will work!

I am planning on using my KitchenAid Artisan mixer tomorrow to make some biscotti. The Artisan mixer is so easy to use, even a single guy like me can figure it out. I have the Metallic Chrome model which is very nice.

Would you like the address to send the biscotti to ?

I adore my KitchenAid Artisan stand mixer. My husband likes it more than I do though! Partially because it’s a fun gadget. It makes baking easy. and easier for me since my husband does most of it now

Note that there are two sizes of KitchenAid mixers, and this is the 325 watt big one. You can easily tell by the handle on the largest (5 qt.) bowl. The less powerful 275 watt models with a 4.5 qt. bowl don’t have that handle.

Killer mixer! You’ll love it!

What is the difference between this model and 575W model? It seems like 575W is little bit taller and bigger and has a stronger engine, but is there any other major differences? I was thinking about buying the 575W as a Christmas gift but this one seems like a good deal. Can it handle all equipments such as pasta maker and ice cream maker? We will use it for home purposes so appreciate any help or recommendation. Thanks.

I have had one of these mixers since 2003. During this time between the wife and I we have done our best to beat this thing into submission (including moving abroad and running it with 50hz electricity stressing the motor and forcing it to mix whole grain and ciabatta dough. They can be had for < $250 fairly regularly, but really if you’re debating this. Buy it. It’s quite an impressive “little” machine.

I just bought a refurbed unit from Kitchenaid’s store on Ebay. Turns out they oversold and ended up sending me a brand new one. THEN the new one came and it had a $50 mail in rebate form inside. I sent it off yesterday.

My wife has been drooling over these for years so it was nice to finally land one.

I just bought one of these at Kohl’s during their cyber monday sale. $300 shipped, plus $50 rebate, with $75 back in Kohl’s cash. Since you can’t get that deal anymore, this is a pretty good consolation. Only like a $10 difference.

Purchased during the November posting. Got it about 2 weeks later. I actually received the “It shipped” email later in the day that it was delivered.

My wife loves it. Great investment and won’t find it cheaper (much cheaper) anywhere else.

I have the 6 quart version of this. It’s good for breads, dough of any kind, whipped cream etc.

The only issue I have had is it can struggle mixing a large batch of dough as the resistance is more than the motor can handle without struggling and I dont want to burn it out.

Have never lived in a house without one of these, and cant imagine not having one at my disposal.

We wants your recipe.
