Is it better than R14M for surround?
I would say yes. Dual horns vs the single horn in the R14M so a bit better dispersion.
I just hung these speakers on my wall yesterday for back channels in a 4.1 configuration. They were a bit bigger and heavier then what I had expected, but that was my own fault for not reading dimensions closely. They sound great for rear channel speakers and really get the job done with a the dual horns config in them. Really does well making the sound not seem like it is only coming from only one spot but a general direction instead. And at the price woot has them for, well worth it as they have been running at $225 on the mothership for quite sometime.
I’ve always liked Klipsch speakers.
Interesting in the specs there’s no THD listed. I wonder why.
